BAİBÜİLEF-İG 2026, hosted by Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Communication, invites participants to an interdisciplinary space of thought and production under the theme “From Alphabet to Algorithm: New Horizons in Global Communication.”

This year's theme aims to rethink communication, culture, and technology within a broad conceptual framework, ranging from the Common Turkic Alphabet to artificial intelligence algorithms. This multilayered discussion, spanning the transformation of alphabet, language, and cultural memory in the digital age to the social and ethical impacts of algorithms, aims to bring together academics, researchers, and professionals from diverse disciplines. 🌐 An Interdisciplinary Meeting

BAİBÜİLEF-İG 2026 provides an open platform for scientific exchange not only in the field of communication;

Engineering, computing and information technologies,

Medicine and health sciences,

Design, visual arts and creativity studies,

Literature, linguistics, Turkology and cultural sciences,

Psychology, sociology, law, and ethics.

In this respect, the symposium offers the opportunity to consider the relationship between humans, culture, and technology from a multidimensional perspective.

Hosted by the Faculty of Communication at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University on May 6–8, 2026, the symposium will offer an international and interdisciplinary academic exchange atmosphere on a campus nestled in nature.

Participants will engage in presentations, panels, and workshops on a wide range of topics, from the traces of the Common Turkic Alphabet in cultural memory to artificial intelligence-supported communication practices.
