25 Aralık 2025 Perşembe
One of the successful examples of inter-faculty academic cooperation within Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University was once again demonstrated at the BAİBÜİLEF-İG 2025 International Artificial Intelligence and Hypermedia Symposium, organized by the BAİBÜ Faculty of Communication.
During the symposium, students from the School of Foreign Languages provided consecutive translation support from English to Turkish to ensure effective and high-quality international academic communication. This contribution, which enabled the presentations of invited speakers and participants delivering English papers to reach a wide academic audience, significantly enhanced the scientific quality of the symposium.
In this context, a certificate presentation ceremony was held for the students who participated in the consecutive translation processes. Sahra Nur Çeltük, one of the students who provided translation support, received her certificate from Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, Chairman of the BAİBÜİLEF-İG Organizing Committee, and Prof. Dr. Mesut Kuleli, Director of the School of Foreign Languages.
Berke Özen, who also served within the same service, received his certificate from Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazan Müge Uysal, the Deputy Head of the Department of Translation and Interpreting and the Department's Career Coordinator.
Following the ceremony, a group photograph was taken with the academic staff and students, with the participation of the School Secretary, İlknur Gülen.
This meaningful event once again demonstrated how the collaborative work between the Faculty of Communication and the School of Foreign Languages contributes strongly to institutional synergy and student-centered applied education in the context of international symposiums and scientific organizations.
BAİBÜ Communication Faculty and Foreign Language High School continues its commitment to preparing its students for international academic environments and training qualified human resources through interdisciplinary collaborations.
